Why I love funerals How going to funerals can help your career.
I was chatting with a friend recently about how much I like going to funerals.
I mentioned that I felt funerals were good because they provided a great reflective environments to reassess my own life and career direction.

When you get to witness the summation of a person’s life from those that knew him best, it becomes one of the best catalysts to examine our own life to see if we are going in the right direction in life and career.

I find it enormously worthwhile to get away on my own for an hour after a funeral and contemplate any changes I’d like to make and plan some goals around that.
It becomes some of the most valuable thinking time I ever have I can observe things from the best possible perspective while in this frame of mind.
It is ideal for planning life and career goals that matter.
